Conor Benn ready to go really heavy to fight Eubank

British top welterweight prospect (up to 66.7 kg) Conor Benn (21-0, 14 KOs) is ready to move up two categories at once to face compatriot Chris Eubank Jr. (32-2, 23 KOs) from the middle category (up to 72.6 kg).

Eubank previously told the media how he recently met Benn in an informal setting and offered to think about the fight in order to “make a lot of money.”

Obviously, Conor has already thought.

“It will be an intermediate weight, I believe. Although I won’t lose sleep in the event of our fight at 72.6 kg. I don’t see anything impossible in this,” Benn said. – In general, I will fight him in the next fight, if I am presented with such an opportunity. Every day of the week and twice more on Sunday. I just don’t think he’s going to take this fight.”

It is worth noting that the famous fathers of boxers, Nigel Benn and Chris Eubank Sr., had two fights for the world titles in middleweight and super middleweight. The first of these Eubank won TKO 9 in 1990, and the revenge in 1993 ended in a draw.

It is expected that Conor’s next fight will be held on July 9 in London (England). His promoter Eddie Hearn wants to get ex-world champion José Ramirez to compete.
