“Come back for the people.” Wilder intrigues about a comeback

Former WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder (42-2-1, 41 KOs) is “definitely thinking” about returning to the ring, but he talks about it in such a casual way that fans have a lot of doubts about this. He fought his last fight in October 2021, losing by technical knockout in the third fight to Tyson Fury.

After that, the American somehow got lost and, perhaps, lost his former taste for boxing.

According to Wilder himself, he feels good outside the ring, is engaged in some important things, including business, investments, and generally enjoys life, communicating with his family, traveling, devotes time to other hobbies and passions.

The puncher told how people supposedly write to him, asking him to return with the words “we need a champion, boxing is dead without you.”

“I’m definitely considering a comeback,” he told Premier Boxing Champions. “We’re trying to figure it out and get it done. I felt a new push in my career to come back for the sake of the people.”

Wilder named the winner of the Usyk-Joshua rematch

Wilder went on to report how he saw “many people” at the unveiling of his statue, “who brought their daughters and sons to see an example of black splendor” – and thanked him “for who I am, for the fact that I am not a fake.”

Given how fluent Deontay’s tongue is, he’s clearly going to be a popular motivational speaker after his boxing career. In general, Wilder also sings – check out the debut track.
