Colby Covington left a warning for Leon Edwards

UFC welterweight title challenger Colby Covington has addressed the division’s current champion, Leon Edwards, with whom he is set to share the octagon in less than three weeks.

“UFC 296. The clock is ticking, Leon – three weeks to go,” the American said in a training video posted on social media. “Everyone knows you didn’t want this fight. Just like the British who didn’t want to give us freedom, but we took it. December 16 will be the same thing. I’ll take the belt back to America and you’ll go back to the UK empty handed. See you soon!”

As a reminder, the welterweight title fight between Leon Edwards and Colby Covington will be the main event of UFC 296, which takes place on December 16 in Las Vegas.
