Coach Charlo talks about Tim Tszyu and the upcoming fight

Derrick James, the coach of the undisputed champion of the first middleweight (up to 69.9 kg) American Jermell Charlo (35-1-1, 19 KOs), at least does not consider the Australian WBO challenger Tim Tszyu (21-0, 15 KOs) to be passable a rival for the ward, and I am also sure that the fate of the upcoming fight will be decided even before the boxers enter the ring.

“I think it’s going to be a good fight,” James said in an interview.
FightHype. “So far, I’ve only seen Tim once, when he fought Terrell Gaucher. I think he is a good fighter. Although I knew about him before, because several of my acquaintances from Australia told me about him.

“Jermell will enter the ring after a great performance (in a rematch with Castaño), they are both on the rise,” notes the coach. – In fact, fights are won in the hall, so I think everything will be decided before the fight. Whoever is better prepared will prevail.”

The Charlo-Tszyu fight will take place on January 28 in Las Vegas (USA).

Meanwhile, the younger brother of the applicant Nikita Tszyu is already sorry for Charlo, and Tim himself believes that he will be more powerful than the 32-year-old “old man” from the USA.
