Former contender for the world heavyweight title (over 90.7 kg) Briton Derek Chisora (33-12, 23 KOs) in
interview for the local media lashed out at the British fans.
The veteran did not like the attitude of local fans to his title fight against WBC belt holder Briton Tyson Fury (32-0-1, 23 KOs), which is scheduled for December 3 at the arena Tottenham Hotspur.
Chisora stated that his bank account was not at all upset by what was happening, and wished the fans to decide what they want or shut their mouths.
You are 10 days away from the biggest prize in this sport. You will enter the ring against Tyson Fury at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. You are now, probably, after the best victory in your career over Kubrat Pulev. You had very good fights with Joseph Parker and Oleksandr Usyk. Are you a little upset by the way the British public is talking about this fight?
– Not. I’m alright. My bank account is not upset. I can say whatever the f*cking things these *****es say, I don’t give a shit. [смеётся] I don’t give a damn what the f*** you want to say.
