Age British slugger heavyweight Derek Chisora (33-12, 23 KOs) claims that he wanted to enter the ring against former US champion Deontay Wilder (43-2-1, 42 KOs), but he was told that “he is not in plans” of the knockout.
In December, Chisora will try to take away the WBC belt from the favorite-champion compatriot Tyson Fury, who already has two wins over Derek and Deontay.
Wilder, after two consecutive defeats to Fury, was close to ending his career, but decided to return to boxing. In October, he knocked out the age-old Finnish big man Robert Helenius in the starting round, after which he made a very emotional and touching speech.
