37-year-old heavyweight Manuel Charr (33-4, 19 KOs) said that the next fight will definitely be against one of the British world champions, as he signed an agreement with promoter Frank Warren.
We are talking about WBC title holder Tyson Fury (32-0-1, 23 KOs), WBA minor champion Daniel Dubois (18-1, 17 KOs), and WBO interim champion Joe Joyce (15-0, 14 KOs).
Charr himself hopes that Fury will become his rival. And, admittedly, the chances of this are great, since Tyson, apparently, has already completely abandoned the fight against Anthony Joshua and even announced the fight with Manuel.
“I hope that we fight fury, but for now I’m waiting for how this whole story with his fight against Joshua will be resolved. I think if they don’t agree, Tyson will fight me. I’m ready, Charr assured. “I signed an agreement to fight three Frank Warren heavyweights: Tyson Fury, Daniel Dubois and Joe Joyce. Ready to fight any of them, but my first choice is Tyson Fury. I want to fight him.”
“If Joshua does sign up to fight Fury, then so be it. If not, don’t be afraid and let me fight Fury,” Manuel urged. “He promised twice already that he would fight me. If now our fight does not take place, it means that he is simply afraid of me. I’m ready to fight for free because I’m a real fighter. I’m not after fucking money, I care about legacy.”
Charr also said that “Fury vs Joshua is a very bad fight for boxing.”
