Charles Oliveira reveals plan to fight Benil Dariush

Former UFC lightweight title holder Charles Oliveira shared his thoughts on his upcoming fight against Benil Dariush, the winner of which will challenge reigning division champion Islam Makhachev.

“I will not say that I will show a strategic fight, that I am going to wait,” MMAFighting quotes the Brazilian. “No. This is not Charles’ style. Charles goes ahead, hunting all the time. If you want to see a boring fight, don’t come to my fight.”

“You will see how I get knocked down, how I fall, but get up again. Dariush lost by knockout, he was submitted. It has holes, just like me. The most important thing is the desire to win, no matter what.”

“I really want this. I want to be a champion again. I want to win, rewrite history, and I’m hungry to win. Knockout, submission, or decision, it doesn’t matter. I’ll be like a lion on the hunt”

Recall that a potential lightweight contender fight between Charles Oliveira and Benil Dariush will take place on May 6 at UFC 288 in Newark.
