Former UFC flyweight and bantamweight champion Henry Cejudo has announced that he is ready to replace Max Holloway in a fight with featherweight champion Alex Volkanovski.
“Triple-Sea rushes to the rescue. Dana White, you have my number, ”Sehudo responded on his Twitter.
Volkanovski and Holloway were supposed to meet at the UFC 272 tournament, which will be held on the night of March 6 in Las Vegas. A few days after the announcement of the title fight, it became known that Holloway was injured.
Cejudo had his last fight in May 2020 at UFC 249. Then he beat Dominick Cruz by TKO and announced his retirement.
