Henry Cejudo asks UFC to fight Alex Volkanovski
Former UFC flyweight and bantamweight champion, Mexican-American Henry Cejudo continues to demand a fight with featherweight champion Alex Volkanovski.
“Hey Dana White, give me a chance to reach out to Alex. I would never jump. I’m Mexican and we never jump off,” Cejudo told UFC President Dana White.

In his last fight, which took place in May 2020 at UFC 249, Cejudo defeated Dominick Cruz by technical knockout. After the victory, Cejudo unexpectedly announced his retirement. In total, the 34-year-old fighter has 16 wins and 2 losses.
It is expected that Volkanovski will perform at the UFC 272 tournament, which will be held on the night of March 6 in Las Vegas. The opponent was supposed to be Max Holloway, but the fighter was injured and withdrew from the fight.
