Promoter Sampson Levkowitz (Sampson Boxing) has no doubt that Mexican superstar and undisputed super middleweight champion Saul Canelo Alvarez (58-2-2, 39 KOs) cannot afford to retire from boxing without facing American David Benavidez (26-0, 23 KOs) in the ring and Cuban David Morrel (8-0, 7 KOs).
“His legacy will be tarnished for the rest of his life,”
thinks Levkowitz. “They will constantly ask him why he never met with them. Why doesn’t he want these fights? Yes, because they both beat him. Yes, Morrel will also beat Canelo. one hundred%.
