Canelo vs Ryan Garcia conflict. Hearn told everything he knew

Popular American lightweight Ryan Garcia (22-0, 18 KOs) has previously spoken enthusiastically about mentor Eddie Reynoso and training side by side with the leader P4P rating Mexican super middleweight Saul Canelo Alvarez (57-2-2, 39 KOs).

But then everything changed. Canelo criticized Garcia for his attitude to boxing, and a few months later, the talented lightweight changed his coach – went to Joe Goossen. At first, the young American remained neutral, but then it broke through: the coach got it for not having time for other fighters, as he constantly works only with Alvarez.

Promoter Eddie HearnMatchroom Boxing) told everything he knows about this situation: “I know for sure that Canelo and Eddie have always been unhappy with Ryan’s attitude to the matter. There is one point that fans need to understand. It’s not easy to get into Canelo’s team. It’s not easy to stay there. It’s not easy to deserve Reynoso to waste his time on you. It is believed that Canelo’s “blessing” is needed for this, since he and the coach are really very close. They believe that Ryan did not make the necessary efforts to retain his place in this room.

However, Hearn believes that the Mexican really wanted the best for the talented Garcia: “From working with Canelo, I learned one thing about him. It’s that he really wants to help people. For this reason, I have no doubt that he would have helped Ryan. He attended his training. But together with Reynoso, they decided that Garcia was eating some of their problems, not related to boxing. They decided that he was not working off the time they were wasting on him.”

Yesterday, even Floyd Mayweather himself suddenly stood up for Canelo and stuffed Ryan Garcia. It’s funny that he used to bet Gennady Golovkin on the victory – and the Mexican was hurt. Canelo answered the ex-teammate, but he deftly took him away again, remembering Hatton.
