Canelo Alvarez speaks out about Joshua’s nervous breakdown after Usyk rematch

Mexican superstar, undisputed super middleweight champion Canelo Alvarez (57-2-2, 39 KOs) proposes not to judge his British colleague from the heavyweight division Anthony Joshua (24-3, 22 KOs) for a nervous breakdown after losing a rematch with Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk (20-0, 13 KOs) August 20 in Saudi Arabia.

Recall that immediately after the announcement of the unfavorable judge’s verdict, Joshua threw out the belts belonging to the opponent from the ring, wanted to settle scores with someone, went to the tribune room, but changed his mind and returned to the ring to make an emotional speech.

“You never know what happened in his camp. You can’t just… It might have been really hard for him to accept this defeat. You have to respect that, because you’ve never been in that position, you’ve never been in that situation. It has to be respected,” Canelo said to
ESNews.

Despite everything, the Mexican is confident that Joshua will not give up. “He’ll be back,” Alvarez foresees.

Earlier, the British coach Robert Garcia told what was happening with Joshua after Usyk’s defeat, and Canelo said that he was still ready to fight Usyk.
