Canelo Alvarez called two reasons for the defeat of Bivol: he wants to fix everything

Apparently, the Mexican Canelo Alvarez (58-2-2, 39 KOs) has already finally decided for himself that he will have a revenge against the Russian Dmitry Bivol (21-0, 11 KOs), whom he lost on points in May of this year, having risen from super middleweight, where he was and remains the undisputed champion, to the light heavyweight category to challenge the opponent’s WBA Super title.

In any case, now, recovering from surgery on his injured hand, Alvarez talks about the mistakes that he is going to correct before the next fight.

In particular, the Mexican complained that he was prevented by an injury, as well as poor preparation.

“That in itself is very difficult, because no one is ready to lose,” Canelo notes. “But I watched the Bivol fight and I find it very competitive given the limitations I had. My arm, my shoulder… I did very well in the first half of the fight, and then the problems started because we didn’t prepare as we should have, especially in the heavier division.”

“This is something we will look at before the rematch,” Alvarez assured. “I lost trying to make history in the next division, but we will work hard and hard so that the result (rematch) is completely different.”

If anything, the boxing legend knows how Alvarez can beat Bivol in a rematch.
