Canelo Alvarez beats and knocks out Golovkin in round 6-7: legend forecast

The legendary sports long-liver, now co-owner of Golden Boy Promotions Bernard Hopkins believes that the Mexican super middleweight absolute (up to 76.2 kg) Saul “Canelo” Alvarez will beat Kazakh veteran Gennady Golovkin in the third fight ahead of schedule, and he will do it somewhere in the middle of the fight.

For most of Canelo’s career, he played for Golden Boy, but parted ways with them in 2020 with a scandal. The company was the organizer of two meetings between Saul and Golovkin. In 2017, the fight ended in a controversial draw not in favor of Gennady, and a year later, Alvarez won a thin decision by the judges.

“GGG is always one step away from rebooting his career as he is a puncher. That’s how he succeeded and that’s how Canelo will debunk him,” Hopkins said.
Little Giant Boxing. – It’s interesting to watch guys who are a few years older and not as young as they were. I think there will be more strikes from both sides. Picking Canelo early in the 6th or 7th round.”

Hopkins doesn’t think the third bout will surpass the spectacle of the first two.

“It is unlikely that this fight will be as exciting. I predict that Canelo will find a way to win and then get a stoppage in rounds 6-7. Most likely, it will be a beating. Canelo is a good body puncher who unwinds you and then your head is already open to do what he has in mind. I think in the end there will be a blow to the liver, and this will happen in the first four rounds, ”said Bernard.

What Leonard and Hopkins had to say about Canelo vs Golovkin 3 in late spring. Recall also that Hopkins wrote Bivol off even before the fight, saying that Canelo would “mash him in mashed potatoes”.

This fight will take place on September 17 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas (USA).
