Famous Ukrainian super lightweight Ivan Redkach (23-6-1, 18 KOs)
published a series of messages in one of the social networks, from which we can conclude that with his announced fight against the American ex-world champion in four categories Adrien Browner (34-4-1, 24 KOs), at least not everything is in order, but at the most – the fight, scheduled for February 25 in the United States, will not take place at all.
“There are a lot of mean people in boxing who ruin the lives of boxers and break their dreams, it hurts me, I’m done with boxing,” Ivan announced. “I was loyal to boxing, (but) when a boxer has his hands tied, he cannot fight.”
“Thank you so much BLK for giving me the opportunity, it hurts me to have my dream fight of my life stolen. …I let my team down. My family, my fans, you all have been waiting for this fight, and what happened is not my fault! Excuse me”.
However, the last message leaves hope that the fight will still take place:
“The fight with Adrien Broner should take place against the odds, we both want it! There are people who do not want this, I respect Adrian and BLK for all his merits.
Recall that the American came to the first press conference on the occasion of the fight with Redkach with a big belly. Subsequently, the fight was postponed.
