Broner-Redkach fight has already been rescheduled

The ex-world champion in four weight categories, American Adrian Broner (34-4-1, 24 KOs), has a reason to be happy – he will get a whole week more to shed abundant excess weight.

As we reported earlier, on February 18, Broner was supposed to return to the ring after a year-long absence and fight against Ukrainian Ivan Redkach (23-6-1, 18 KOs). The boxers took part in a joint press conference, where Adrien did not hide his impressive belly.

Meanwhile, on the eve it became known that the boxing evening will take place not on February 18, but on February 25, but still in the same place – in Atlanta (USA). The reasons for the postponement of the show are not reported.

It is also reported that former US champions Tevin Farmer and Mickey Bay, who did not succeed in August, should finally fight there.

Recall that the previous fight Broner barely won against Giovani Santiago in February 2021, and before that, in January 2019, Manny Pacquiao was beaten on points.

For Redkach, this will be the first performance since a strange loss to Regis Prograis in April last year.

“I’m not just an elite, I’m one of the greatest in the history of boxing,” says the American meanwhile.
