Boxing blogger Jake Paul makes his MMA debut under the PFL banner

Popular blogger Jake Paul, who in a little over a year has become one of the most recognizable figures in the world of martial arts, has signed a long-term agreement with the PFL, at the same time becoming a co-owner of the organization.

According to the contract, the 25-year-old American will compete in the new Super Fight division, the fights of which will be broadcast on the PPV system. At the same time, the YouTuber will receive 50% of the sale of paid broadcasts.

“I broke boxing, and now it’s time to break MMA,” Paul said in an interview with The New York Times.

According to the blogger, his plan for the current year is to fight under the rules of boxing against Nate Diaz, and then meet the former UFC fighter in an MMA fight.

“Nate Diaz, I’m ready to fight you in your damn sport. Let’s do it!” Paul said.

Representatives of the Professional Fighters League officially confirmed the signing of the blogger, explaining that both well-known professional fighters and celebrities with fighting skills of a certain level will become participants in the Super Fight division.

Last October, Jake Paul chalked up his sixth professional boxing win with a unanimous decision over former UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva.
