Blogger Jake Paul picked up another early victory in boxing

Popular blogger Jake Paul continues his success as a boxer, recording his ninth win in the professional ring.

This time the 27-year-old American defeated his 35-year-old compatriot Ryan Burland, who had previously had only one fight in six years.

The fight, which took place at a boxing event in Puerto Rico, ended at the 2:37 mark of the first round with an early victory for the youtuber, who locked his opponent in a corner and unleashed a hail of punches, forcing the referee to stop the fight.

After the fight, Jake Paul once again challenged one of the best boxers of our time, Saul “Canelo” Alvarez.

“Canelo, stop avoiding me!” the American said in his post-fight interview, addressing the Mexican. “I know that’s what you want! I’m the face of this sport – I’m the most popular boxer and I have the most viral knockouts, period. No one can deny that.”

Jake Paul has previously racked up eight professional victories as a boxer, including wins over notable fighters such as Ben Askren, Tyron Woodley, Anderson Silva and Nate Diaz.

The American’s only defeat came last year against Britain’s Tommy Fury, to whom he lost by split decision over eight rounds.
