This opinion is shared by British promoter Eddie Hearn, based on Dmitry’s victorious fight against Canelo Alvarez in early May.
“After such a performance (like against Alvarez), I would say that Bivol is a big favorite against Beterbiev, to be honest,” Hearn told
DAZN. “Overall, it’s a great fight. Let’s see how Beterbiev does with Joe Smith, but this performance from Bivol (against Alvarez) was incredible.”
