Berinchyk can fight in the undercard of the Usyk-Fury show – promoter

European EBU lightweight champion (up to 61.2 kg) Ukrainian Denys Berinchyk (17-0, 9 KOs) can hold his next fight on the undercard of a boxing show, the main event of which will be the fight between his compatriot Oleksandr Usyk and Briton Tyson Fury for the title absolute heavyweight champion.

Recall that Denis won the European title at the end of last year just on the undercard from Fury, who then fought with Derek Chisora. The Ukrainian took the belt from the Frenchman Ivan Mendy, winning on points. After that, the Ukrainian boxer signed a co-promotion agreement with British functionary Frank Warren.

Berinchyk’s promoter and general director of K2 Promotions Ukraine Oleksandr Krasyuk announced the possibility of Berinchyk’s performance in the Usyk-Fury show during a live broadcast on
Luckypunch.net.

– I’m wondering what kind of communication you had with Frank Warren about Denis Berinchyk after his debut in Britain? You have co-promotion, what does the other side say, what are your plans?

– What are the plans – we voiced it in the media. Bob Arum said before the fight: “If this guy beats that guy, then …”

– And Denis himself is talking about Isaac Cruz.

We can talk about anything, but it will all depend on the circumstances. Now we are talking about the fact that we intend to make Denis Berinchyk fight on the undercard between Usyk and Fury.

Krasyuk also said what happened to the Usyk-Fury fight.
