Former world champion and current boxing columnist Tony Bellew is not thrilled that former UFC heavyweight leader Francis Ngannou of Cameroon (17-3 in MMA) will continue his boxing career and is looking forward to fights with the best fighters in the world.

Bellew
claimsthat in the new discipline Ngannou will simply be declassed: “In 4-ounce gloves, he is a noble puncher. Dude, trust me, we’d all be absolute killers in 4oz gloves. No, actually I agree that he has outstanding power. But if we are talking about boxing, then what are his chances? Absolutely none! In a boxing match, he will simply be beaten. And I mean exactly what I said.”

According to Bellew, “one could say differently if he first went to the champion-level fighter of the Central Region, went through a couple of journeymen, got used to it a little and learned something. And now… I’m not even sure that Ngannou can be put against a fighter like
Camila Sokolowski. Why? Yes, because he can easily lose to him. I’m not talking about decent heavyweights – right now, any of them will beat Francis. Don’t get me wrong, in a cage he would destroy any of these dudes.”

Sokolowski (11-27-3, 4 KOs) is a 36-year-old traveler from Poland, who tests all prospects in the division. He gave solid fights to most of them, losing ahead of schedule to only four. Fraser Clark, Otto Wallin, David Adeleye (to be honest, he didn’t manage to win), Ali Demirezen, Lucas Brown, David Price, Ilunga Bakole could not knock out the Pole.

Sokolovski won, including avenues from Ukraine – Igor Shevadzutsky (a victory for a thin one), Vladislav Sirenko and Viktor Vykhryst.
