Michael Page spoke complimentary about the Ukrainian
Top Bellator fighter, official contender for welterweight title Michael Page (21-1) shared his thoughts on the fight with the Ukrainian champion, undefeated Yaroslav Amosov (26-0).
“Amosov is amazing. Come to think of it, he is technically the best fighter in MMA right now. In terms of his winning record, I think he’s at the top. The only person who beat him was Khabib Nurmagomedov, and he is now retired. He is very good everywhere. Very dangerous, excellent wrestler, good in his pain and choking.
I don’t think he’s that dangerous on the stand, but his understanding makes him dangerous. This means he is hard to hit and organizes his takedowns so well. He is very dangerous. It’s a great fight for me to check where I am,” Page said.
Recall that the fight between Amosov and Page will headline the Bellator tournament, which will be held on May 13 in London.
