Bec Rawlings will make her long awaited return to bare-knuckle action with a rematch booked against old foe Britain Hart at the upcoming BKFC card in Omaha, Neb. on May 13.
Officials from BKFC confirmed the matchup, after Rawlings posted the announcement via Instagram.
Rawlings returns to BKFC after she went undefeated for the promotion through three fights including a grueling split decision win over Hart back in 2018.
Ultimately, the 33-year-old Australian brawler went 3-0 for BKFC while also holding the Police Gazette women’s featherweight world championship as well as the World Boxing Foundation Latin America championship.
Rawlings’ last win with BKFC came in 2019 before she returned to mixed martial arts for a two fight stint with Bellator MMA where she went 1-1. She eventually parted ways with the company and then signed a new deal to return to BKFC.
She’ll face Hart in her first fight since she lost to Christine Ferea. Hart won four consecutive victories to get into title contention.
Hart won impressive victories over UFC veterans Pearl Gonzalez and Paige VanZant during her rise to the top. Now, Hart will be looking to revenge a defeat on her record against Rawlings in May.
In the next few weeks,
BKFC plans to announce more matches for Omaha’s card.
