Bakole will fight with an unbeaten Ukrainian? There is a date and place of the fight

A hefty near-top heavyweight, who plays for Scotland, a native of the DRC, Martin Bakole Ilunga (18-1, 13 KOs), via social networks, announced that his next fight will be held on April 22 in Liverpool (England) against an unbeaten prospect from Ukraine Igor Shevadzutsky (10-0, 8 KO).

Given that the big guy’s post was later deleted, let’s assume the deal isn’t closed yet.

In 2018, Bakole was close to defeating American Michael Hunter: he controlled the course of the fight, but got injured and lost ahead of schedule. The Scot has won over the Pole Mariusz Wach and the Russian Sergei Kuzmin. But the most notorious scalp is Olympian Tony Yoka of France, whom Bacole upset in May last year.

Shevadzutsky is still better known for his performances at the amateur level: he was the champion of Ukraine, played for Ukrainian atamans semi-professional WSB league. The most iconic names in the pros are staunch journimen Kevin Johnson and
Kamil Sokolovsky.

He was the main sparring partner of the Russian Alexander Povetkin when he was preparing for the first fight with the Briton Dillian Whyte.
