Bagautinov – about the referee’s decision in the battle with Provodnikov: “If Ruslan were not the opponent, then they would give me the victory”

Former contender for the UFC flyweight title Ali Bagautinov expressed his opinion on the referee’s decision in the boxing fight with Ruslan Provodnikov.

“At first I was a little disappointed, and then I thought that if I had been given the victory, then somehow, probably, I would have been a little disappointed myself, because I have great respect for my opponent. I think that he himself would be offended if they gave me the victory. And so, I think that, of course, I dominated this fight a little, and if Ruslan weren’t the opponent, then they would have given me the victory, ”Bagautinov said in an interview with media representatives, including SE.

Former world boxing champion Provodnikov defeated Bagautinov by split decision. The fight lasted five rounds and took place at the Open Fighting Championship 15 tournament in Moscow.
