Arum prospects give out their option for the fight of the year: video

Pechanga ArenaSan Diego, USA. The confrontation between undefeated Mexican welterweight prospects (up to 66.7 kg) Lindolfo Delgado (16-0, 13 KOs) and Omar Aguilar (24-1, 23 KOs) turned out to be very entertaining.

As expected, Aguilar made an attempt to impose power boxing, but Delgado still relied more on the school.

The techie had a great 4th round, but the referee denied him a clean knockdown.

Realizing that he was significantly inferior in the score, Aguilar went for broke, made the fight even tighter and pulled out the decisive rounds. But that was not enough to win: 77-75 and slightly wild twice 79-73.

Delgado UD 8.

Very solid fight, both are unrealistically good.

In the light weight limit (up to 61.2 kg), an entertaining fight took place between slightly slowed down avenues from the USA: Javier Martinez (18-1, 12 KOs) defeated
Alejandro Guerrero (12-3, 9 KOs).

In the 5th round, the underdog picked up blows, after which the referee intervened. Perhaps a little hasty.

Martinez TKO 5.

In the light weight limit (up to 61.2 kg) American
Miguel Contreras (12-1-1, 6 KOs) confidently outboxed
Josek Ruiz (23-7-3, 16 KOs) from Nicaragua.

The fight went the whole distance, turned out to be spectacular, but not very competitive. The score of the judges: twice 80-72 and 79-73.

Contreras UD 8.
