Artem Lobov complained about threats from Conor McGregor

Former double UFC champion Conor McGregor has received a second lawsuit from his former friend and sparring partner Artem Lobov, who is trying to sue him for thirty million dollars.

This time, Russian Hammer alleges that McGregor orchestrated a “concerted social media attack” to intimidate and defame him after he filed the first lawsuit.

Lobov also claims that McGregor’s father, Tony, threatened him on social media.

At the end of last month, Artem Lobov sued Conor McGregor, stating that he was the author of the idea to launch the Proper No. whiskey brand. 12, and to receive five per cent of the six hundred million dollars the Irishman made from his sale.

A few months earlier, Artem Lobov gave an interview in which he spoke about his involvement in the launch of the Proper No. brand. 12, and also announced that he turned down a million dollars offered to him as a thank you by Conor McGregor.

According to the Independent, McGregor’s attorney told the court under oath that Lobov told his client in 2019: ‘I swear on my child’s life I won’t take a cent from the whiskey deal’, while a spokesman for the Russian-Irish fighter claims McGregor promised him five percent of the sale of the brand, which Lobov never received.

After the lawsuit became known, McGregor addressed several offensive messages on social media to Lobov, including calling his former best friend a ‘rat’ and challenging him to a fight.
