Earlier, Ismagulov, who lost to Tsarukyan by unanimous decision last December, announced that he would postpone his resignation if the UFC organized a rematch for them. Ismagulov announced the end of his professional career at the beginning of this year, citing health problems.
Arman Tsarukyan and Damir Ismagulov are currently ranked eighth and twelfth in the UFC lightweight rankings, respectively.
