Former world heavyweight champion Briton Anthony Joshua (24-3, 22 KOs) supports the idea of a rematch against compatriot Dillian Whyte (28-3, 19 KOs) in 2023, but suggests not getting too far ahead.
“It’s possible, but don’t get attached to what I’m saying because the situation is constantly changing,” Joshua said. “And it also depends on Dillian’s own wishes. But if you ask if I would go against White again, my answer is yes, 100%.”
Recall that it was against White that Joshua had his last fight so far, in which there was no world title at stake – in December 2015, Anthony stopped Dillian in the 7th round.
At the same time, White is scheduled to perform at the end of November – he must box against the American Jermain Franklin.
Joshua fought the only fight in 2022 on August 20, losing again on points to Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk.
Do you know who really “ruined Joshua’s career”? The answer will amuse you.
