Anthony Joshua reveals when he’ll be back in the ring

British ex-world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua (24-3, 22 KOs) is not going to sit idle after losing in a rematch against Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk last weekend, despite clearly not the most positive psychological state.

According to the boxer, he wants to re-enter the ring before the end of the year. So far no details.

“I was talking to (promoter) Eddie (Hearn) and asked him if I could get in the ring again in November because it’s important not to lose momentum. He said December. I will take two weeks off (before returning to the gym),” Joshua said.

Anthony also assured that he “will remain a fighter until the end of his days”, and his “fire will never go out”, and also stressed that 11 months without combat practice, as was the case before the rematch with Usyk, is too big a break for him.

Recall that on the night of August 20-21 in Saudi Arabia, Usyk defeated Joshua on points and, thanks to this, defended the WBA, IBF and WBO titles.

Immediately after the fight, Lomachenko consoled Joshua, and he told him: “Fuck this shit!” – video
