During his stay in Saudi Arabia, where the first official press conference was held this week, timed to coincide with the heavyweight rematch between Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk and Briton Anthony Joshua, the latter met the legendary compatriot, ex-world champion “Prince” Naseem Hamed.
Recall that Hamed owned the featherweight title (up to 57.2 kg), but after the end of his career in 2002, he stopped keeping fit and now, it seems, weighs plus or minus the same as Joshua.
Recently, Hamed was caught by photohunters. He, after the defeat of Joshua from Usyk in September last year, said that it was time for Anthony to end his career.
As for the Usyk-Joshua rematch, it is, as before, scheduled for August 20 in Saudi Arabia.
