Andre Ward is back? The legendary champion on the sensational video

The legendary Andre Ward – Olympic champion, conqueror of two divisions, leader of the second middle and light heavyweight – left boxing in 2017 undefeated and the leader of the P4P rating.

The boxer does not hide the fact that the main reasons for leaving were health problems and (above all) the lack of worthwhile (financially) offers. Last week, Ward was “caught” in the gym. Rumors about his comeback immediately spread.

The American did not
tease fans: “I just work, keep myself in shape, take care of my health. You always feel young in the ring. Just moved a little. I don’t have any crazy thoughts (about a comeback). Although I do not hide that this itch, this desire to re-enter the ring – all this has not gone away. But it normal. I will be a fighter for the rest of my life. But in general, no. I just work hard and enjoy life.”

The last time Ward was seen in the ring was in the summer of 2017 – he closed all questions in the confrontation with the Russian Sergey Kovalev, knocking him out in the 8th round of the rematch.

Ward has long focused on commentary work. He praised Yarde for the fight with Beterbiev, admitted that he did not like the level of rivals Gervonta Davis and suggested that Teofimo Lopez would be difficult in the super lightweight division.
