Anatoly Tokov does not rule out a move to the UFC

After the purchase of Bellator by the PFL league, Russian middleweight Anatoly Tokov does not exclude the situation that in the near future may be in the roster of the UFC.

“I plan to work out my contract with the PFL, and then we’ll see,” Tokov said in an interview RB Sport. “If we don’t reach an agreement with the PFL, we can go to the UFC, try ourselves. If the offers are equal, I will most likely choose the UFC. I’ll consult with the team, we’ll talk, discuss all the points, and make a decision together”

Nevertheless, the Russian will fight next on April 19 at ACA 174 in St. Petersburg against his compatriot and former rival Sharaf Davlatmurodov.

Initially, Tokov’s opponent in the ACA league was supposed to be Magomed Ismailov, however, “The Bald Predator” was injured and pulled out of the fight, which the organization plans to hold before the end of the year.

Last year, 33-year-old Anatoly Tokov made an unsuccessful attempt to take the Bellator middleweight championship belt from Johnny Eblin, losing to the American by unanimous decision over five rounds, and is currently ranked third in the division’s rankings.
