AMOSOV: “I had a very long training camp – 9 months”

Ukrainian fighter – about the victory over Logan Storley

The reigning Bellator welterweight champion Ukrainian Yaroslav Amosov spoke about preparing for the fight with Logan Storley at the tournament in Dublin, which took place last weekend

“My last week before the fight was a big motivation for me. I saw a lot of photos, recalled what happened. People always asked me how I feel. Now Ukraine is very hard. I wanted to dedicate this victory to Ukraine.

I had a very long training camp – 9 months. I trained hard because I didn’t know when Bellator would schedule my next fight.

I had visa problems. My American visa expired, I opened a new one and transferred it to the American House. 5.5 months I was waiting for a new passport and a new visa. Now, after the battle, I understand that the battle has happened, my camp is over. I’m happy. My team made me a very good plan for the fight, we did our best, ”admitted Amosov.

Earlier, Yaroslav Amosov admitted his desire to meet with the UFC champion.
