Alistair Overeem shocked fans with his appearance

Former DREAM, Strikeforce and K-1 champion, Alistair Overeem, after completing the trilogy with Badr Hari, was banned for one year for using illegal substances, showed his current physical form, shocking fans with his appearance.

Judging by the photos and videos posted by the Dutchman on social networks, he has lost most of his impressive muscle mass, and has become like himself of twenty years ago when he competed in the PRIDE middleweight division.

Many Overeem fans were concerned that the weight loss could be due to illness, with some speculating that the Dutchman had to give up doping due to the suspension.

Alistair Overeem, 43, returned to kickboxing after coming to the end of his ten-year run in the UFC, where he made one unsuccessful bid for the heavyweight championship belt in a knockout loss to Stipa Miocic.

After defeating Badr Hari by unanimous decision at the Glory tournament in the Netherlands last October, Alistair Overeem failed a doping test and was denied victory in a principled confrontation.

Previously, Overeem and Hari had two fights – in December 2008 at the K-1 Dynamite tournament, Overeem knocked out the opponent in the first round, and a year later, Hari took a convincing revenge in the K-1 World Grand Prix 2009, forcing the referee to stop the fight after several knockdowns .
