Alexander Shabliy about the quarter-finals of the Bellator Grand Prix: “The biggest fight in my career”

The participant of the Bellator lightweight grand prix, Alexander Shabliy, with maximum motivation and concentration, approaches the fight against Tofik Musaev, in which the first ticket to the semi-finals of the competition will be played.

“The Grand Prix in which I will participate is one of the most high-profile events – it motivates and inspires me,” the Russian said, talking to reporters before the Bellator 292 tournament. “This is the biggest fight in my career. I want to point out that I didn’t have five round fights – this is a new experience that I am looking forward to.”

“Tofig Musaev is a very serious opponent. When he was signed to Bellator and defeated Sydney Outlaw, I immediately thought we were going to fight him, but I expected it to be a Candidates fight. It so happened that this is the first Grand Prix fight, but it will still be. I don’t look behind my opponent’s back, I don’t think about who will be the next opponent, and all my efforts are thrown on March 10 and the fight with Tofik Musaev.”

The quarterfinal lightweight grand prix fight between Alexander Shabliy and Tofik Musaev will be the second most important event of the Bellator 292 tournament, which will take place on March 10 in San Jose.
