Russian MMA fighter Alexander Emelianenko lost to Brazilian Marcio Santos at the AMC Fight Nights tournament. Santos defeated Emelianenko in the first round by submission.
“As my brother Fedor said, whoever didn’t fall didn’t get up,” Emelianenko said after the fight.
Emelianenko suffered the 9th defeat of his career with 28 wins, Santos won the 16th victory with 6 losses.
