Alexa Grasso and Valentina Shevchenko have been appointed as coaches of TUF 32

Alexa Grasso and Valentina Shevchenko will complete a groundbreaking title trilogy by pre-fighting its finale as part of another season of The Ultimate Fighter, where the former and current UFC women’s bantamweight champion will coach the men’s featherweight and middleweight divisions.

The thirty-second season of TUF is scheduled to premiere on ESPN on June 4. Dates for the coaching matchup have not been disclosed and will be announced after the season concludes.

“Happy International Women’s Day!” wrote UFC head man Dana White on social media. “TUF 32 will be coached by Alexa Grasso and Valentina Shevchenko, and will premiere the season on June 4 on ESPN”

Alexa Grasso sensationally snatched the UFC flyweight championship belt from Valentina Shevchenko in March 2022 with a fourth-round rear-naked choke victory, and the Mexican retained the title last September by drawing an immediate rematch with “Bullet.”

At the same time, the fate of the second fight was actually decided by referee Mike Bell, giving Grasso the last round by a score of 10-8 for a final score of 47-47, which sparked outrage from Shevchenko and bewilderment from the mma community.
