Adrien Broner stunned: “I’ve never lost, I’m waiting for the Hall of Fame”

33-year-old conqueror of four categories, American Adrien Browner (34-4-1, 24 KOs) has not been impressive for a long time. So, he got the last confident victory, scary to say, back in 2016, stopping the British middle peasant Ashley Thiofein.

Since then, a hard-fought points win over Adrian Granados, losses to Mikey Garcia and Manny Pacquiao, a draw with Jesse Vargas, and a controversial decision win over Giovani Santiago in the last fight in February 2021.

On August 20, Adrian is scheduled to return in a fight against Omar Figueroa for the WBC Silver super lightweight title (up to 63.5 kg). And he has some thoughts about it.

“The fight (against Figueroa) is like redemption? First things first, redemption is needed for those who lost. And I never lost,” said Broner. – Well, yes, I had defeats, but think for yourself. I’m from Cincinnati. When I started, I was broken. So everything I’ve been doing since then has been a plus.”

“No one knows me. No one knows that my second nickname is “Twin”. You only know Adrien Broner. In short, everything I do now is a plus. So what is redemption? What redemption are we talking about? Nonsense. I’m that nigga. In general, I could no longer fight, ”says Adrian, as if it was not he who was literally begging Floyd Mayweather for an exhibition fight in order to earn good money and thereby get rid of the need to continue his career. “I know I’ll be in the Hall of Fame. Even if I never enter the ring again, I know that I will be there. 100 percent”.

In October last year, it became known that Broner was put behind bars again. And in March of this year he was seen in a wheelchair – video.
