ACA League in talks with Francis Ngannou

The ACA Russian League has announced talks with former UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou, who has become a free agent and is rumored to be looking for at least $10 million in his next fight.

About it in an interview RB Sport Aslanbek Badaev, vice-president of the organization, said.

“ACA is fighting for him,” Badaev said. “The other day they sent me his contacts and the contacts of his manager, and I have already contacted them. There is a dialogue, we are waiting for their response. I don’t think the ACA will pay him ten million dollars to fight, but we could talk about a better price. If he named ten million to someone, it is not necessary that he will tell us this figure. Different promotions can be given different numbers – this is often the case.

“Ten million, I think it’s too much, but, on the other hand, I also understand it. The guy left the UFC, including because of the financial component, and of course he wants to earn more. In boxing or fisticuffs, they can give him that amount, but in MMA, I don’t even know who can pay him that much. This is unlikely”

The departure of Francis Ngannou from the strongest league in the world two weeks ago was officially confirmed by UFC President Dana White, who announced that Jon Jones and Cyril Gun would play for the vacant championship belt on March 4 at UFC 285 in Las Vegas.
