Abus Magomedov: “Ready to fight Sean Strickland to the death!”

Russian middleweight Abusupiyan Magomedov shared his opinion about the upcoming fight with American Sean Strickland, who will head another UFC event this weekend.

“This fight was a big surprise for me, as it is for most fighters in the UFC,” Magomedov told TMZ Sports. “I am delighted and grateful to the UFC for giving me this opportunity.”

“Sean is a very difficult opponent, he has fought a lot of top 10 tough guys and he has a lot of experience. His technique is unconventional and you never know how he will fight. This is a big fight for me, the toughest fight of my career, and I’m ready to fight him to the death. I’ll show it on Saturday”

“It doesn’t matter to me where exactly to compete with him. I’m ready to stand up, wrestle, take the ground – I always try to finish the fight early, preferably in the standing position, because this is the most spectacular way to win and get a bonus, but if we end up on the bottom, so be it. I’m ready for anything, and I want to turn to Sean – get ready, man! This will be the hardest evening of your life!”

Recall that the fight between Abusupian Magomedov and Sean Strickland will be the main event of the UFC on ESPN 48 tournament, which will be held July 1 in Las Vegas.
