Promoter Frank Warrenqueensberry promotions) said that the fight for the title of absolute heavyweight champion between Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk (20-0, 13 KOs) and Briton Tyson Fury (33-0-1, 24 KOs) will not take place on March 4, as previously thought.

“We have already gone very far in the negotiations, but there are still unresolved issues,”
tells Warren. – We want to finally close all the controversial points. We want to quickly get to the point where the fight can be officially announced. And we believe that this will happen very soon.”

According to Warren, this week they will officially receive offers from investors from Saudi Arabia who are interested in hosting the fight: “We are expecting several offers right away. They should arrive this week, but so far they haven’t. Once we have specifics, Tyson will make the final decision.”

Warren admitted that the March 4 date has lost its relevance: “I think the fight will take place either at the end of March or at the beginning of April. At least now we are considering precisely these dates. We keep our fingers crossed that everything will be decided this week. But if it fails on this one, it will succeed on the next one. It will happen. Believe me.”

Despite everything, Warren is pleased with the progress of the negotiations. He says that it would be much more difficult to negotiate with ex-champion Briton Anthony Joshua: “In fact, there is nothing surprising here. Usyk’s team does not have a promotional agreement, they are free agents without a contract with any TV channel. So it’s easier here.”

Warren agrees with Fury’s co-promoter Bob Arum (Top Rank) – if this fight takes place in Britain, then the distribution of the prize fund should be in favor of the local champion: “Because the audience will buy tickets and broadcasts primarily because of Fury. His last two fights brought together 160,000 fans in the stands here. We are working on this issue as well. Usyk and his team are smart people. And so are we. They know and understand it.”

Even the coach of Deontay Wilder agrees with this: 50 to 50 for the Usyk-Fury fight at Wembley? No, it’s not real. Do you also think that Tyson will crush Alexander with his size and weight? Malik Scott is not sure.

Yesterday, Fury accepted Usyk’s challenge: “Come here, rabbit!” Is there a video.
