Former world heavyweight champion American Deontay Wilder (43-2-1, 42 KOs) commented on a spectacular victory over Robert Helenius (31-4, 19 KOs) from Finland in the main event of the boxing evening held last night in Brooklyn (USA).
Recall that Wilder knocked out Helenius with a right hand in the first round.

“I had to take my time,” said the winner. – I had to circle around the ring, be mobile, hostile and agile. So I aimed the sight, let him reach me and then attacked myself. It was a great fight.”
Deontey expressed regret that he did not see among the audience the Ukrainian champion in three versions Oleksandr Usyk (20-0, 13 KOs), whose planned visit to the fight was repeatedly reported earlier:
“I heard rumors about Usyk. I see that he is not here. Or is he here? Most often, when guys talk about wanting to fight me, they come to the show with my participation, see a devastating knockout and then disappear somewhere. So it doesn’t matter to me, I’m ready for Usyk and Andy Ruiz.”
