O2 Arena, London, UK. In the main bout of the evening, irreconcilable rivals American Clarissa Shields (13-0, 2 KOs) and British Savannah Marshall (12-1, 10 KOs) determined the absolute middleweight champion (up to 72.6 kg) in a head-to-head fight.

Marshall took the center of the ring. How similar is her style to that of Tyson Fury! There was no profit in the starting round from this. Shields intercepted Marshall’s attacks and responded with multi-hit combinations. The Briton tried to pinch her opponent at the ropes.

How effective the American looks! Almost every blow brings to the target, Marshall deftly dodges attacks. It looks like the Brit will have to change her style as the fight progresses.

It’s like Floyd Mayweather, only better! Shields in the corner of the ring evaded all of Marshall’s punches and accurately countered. She doesn’t put in punches, but she throws a lot. Marshall has practically nothing, she fouls more and more often in an attempt to impose a power confrontation.

It worked out a little. At some point, it seemed that Shields was exhausted. The American took a break, then again began to punish the British. What a great left hook she has.

Rounds 8-10 Marshall went a little better. She was no longer inferior to Shields in the number of thrown punches, and the American was sometimes too fond of flaunting defense in the corner of the ring.

How many rounds will Marshall give up given that the fight is taking place in Britain? 96-94, 97-93 and 97-93 in favor of the incomparable Clarissa. The British were given everything they could …

Shields UD 12.

Olympia, Liverpool, UK. In the main event of the show, the European champion, winner of the World Championships and the European Games, local featherweight prospect (up to 57.2 kg) Peter McGrail (5-0, 4 KOs) easily beat the Nicaraguan Alexander Espinosa (21-5-2, 8 KOs).

McGrail controlled the course of the fight, dropped the opponent in the 4th round.

After the 6th three-minute period in the corner of the underdog, they decided that enough was enough.
