Domo Alcalde, Guadalajara, Mexico. In the main fight of the show, “super” and “regular” WBA champions in the first flyweight (up to 49 kg) met: the favorite from Mexico, Hiroto Kyoguchi (16-0, 11 KOs), knocked out local gatekeeper Esteban Bermudez (14-4-2, 10 KO).
The soldiers immediately rolled up the wheelhouse. Bermudez acted too sweepingly, so he flew more often. Kyoguchi traditionally leaned on uppercuts, tried to dictate the pace of the fight.

In the 4th round, Bermudez had a successful moment – he hit with a left hook. In the 6th three-minute period, the referee fined the Japanese – he shook his head dangerously, hit the Mexican. In the 7th round, the third in the ring deprived the Japanese of another point – he took a knockdown, recorded a blow to the back of the head.
The favorite decided that it was completely possible to give in by disqualification and put pressure on him – in the 8th three-minute period he forced the referee to stop the fight.
