Chinese heavyweight Zhang Zhilei (24-1-1, 19 KOs) promises an “explosive, epic and amazing fight” on April 15 against “interim” WBC world champion Joe Joyce (15-0, 14 KOs).
A native of Zhengzhou (PRC) considers the most dangerous fight “a new chapter in his career.”
“I am always ready for a challenge and when opportunity rings the door. Joe and I have a lot in common — we’re both Olympic silver medalists, both powerful punchers and almost the same height,” Zhang said. “I want to thank my team and Team Joyce for making this fight.”
The Chinese says that we want “all my fans in the UK” to come and enjoy the fight.

“I can’t wait to get in the ring on April 15,” he summed up without much fiction, without even promising to be the first to topple Joyce.
Joe is looking forward to fighting the giant and considers it preparation for Usyk or Fury.
