A week after Khabib Nurmagomedov promised to talk to Zabit Magomedsharipov about his return to the UFC, the Russian featherweight has hinted that he could resume his professional career.
“Contracts are not the same, of course,” Magomedsharipov wrote on a social network, posting a corresponding photo.
At the same time, Magomedsharipov’s younger brother, Khasan, confirmed in the comments to the publication that he was talking about resuming his career.
“With your return, everything will change soon,” Magomedsharipov Jr. wrote.
31-year-old Zabit Magomedsharipov last entered the octagon in November 2019, when he won a unanimous decision against Calvin Kattar at the UFC in Moscow, but officially notified the organization of his retirement only in June of this year.
Under the banner of the strongest league in the world, the Russian won six victories in a row without suffering a single defeat, and reached the third line of the UFC featherweight ranking.
