Yevloyev responded to Volkanovski about participating in the UFC 300 tournament

The UFC’s No. 5 ranked welterweight division, Movsar Yevloev, has made it clear that he is ready to fight at UFC 300 with Alexander Volkanovski, who has promised to headline the anniversary event after defending his championship belt against Elijah Topuria this weekend.

“Alex, you can beat the fake Conor, but I’m a different level. I will send you into retirement,” the Russian wrote, quoting the Australian’s statement.

A featherweight title fight between Alexander Volkanovski and Elijah Topuria will headline UFC 298 in Anaheim on Feb. 17, while UFC 300, which remains without a main event for now, will take place April 13 in Las Vegas.

The day before, the head of the world’s strongest league, Dana White, promised to announce the main fight of the anniversary show at a press conference after the UFC 298 tournament.

Movsar Yevloev, 30, knows no defeats and is riding an eight-fight win streak in the UFC, the most recent of which came last month when he won a unanimous decision over Brit Arnold Allen.
