In the main event of the evening, the Bellator welterweight champion Yaroslav Amosov from Ukraine (26–0) will fight with an American Logan Storley (14–1).
In the previous fight, Amosov in June 2021 defeated the Brazilian Douglas Lima by unanimous decision and won the champion title. In 2022, Amosov, in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, defended Ukraine from rashist invaders.
Amosov and Storley already met in November 2020. The Ukrainian won a three-round fight by a split decision, and this is the only loss of an American in his career so far. After that, Storley won three fights in a row and won the interim Bellator title.
On the undercard of Bellator 291, Ukrainian Dmitry Gritsenko (7-0) will make his debut in the promotion, his opponent is Daniele Scatizzi from Italy (12-6).
